Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eShould the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow candle to solidify before relighting.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eShould any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAlways protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTo protect the glass, always ensure that 0.5 centimeters of unmelted wax remain for Classic-sized candles. L’Intermède and La Grande Bougie are equipped with wick-stoppers and will automatically extinguish once they become visible.
