The Zamioculcas zamiifolia (commonly known as the ZZ plant or Fern Arum) is a virtually unkillable, air-purifying houseplant.
Key Care Requirements
Light: Thrives in low-light, shady corners, or bright indirect light. Avoid direct, scorching sunlight.
Watering: Very drought-tolerant. Allow the compost to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the biggest threat, as it can cause root rot.
Temperature & Humidity: Keep in indoor temperatures above 15°C (59°F) and away from direct radiators or cold drafts.
Soil & Feeding: Use a well-draining, multipurpose potting mix and feed with a balanced liquid plant food about once a month during spring and summer.
Toxicity: Keep out of reach of pets and small children, as the leaves are mildly toxic if ingested
